Since starting this diet on Monday I am down 10 lbs but I workout 2x a day. An 1hr in the morning using the elliptical and 30 min after work. The 1st day 4 lbs down then 2 each day after. I am on day 5. This diet is very hard but is paying off. I plan to do it again in about 2 weeks but incorporating fish and eggs because I also lift weights and need more protein. So this week I have not lifted as much because it does lack in that unless you can eat thing like beans for it. I gotta admit I got really sick of eating fruit all day because it taste way to sweet for me and felt like I had a sugar rush from eating candy even though it was fruit. I got sick of certain smells too but I pushed through and it’s going pretty well. Good luck to anyone else who tried is.
Another thing that works for the diet is that you do not have to limit the amount of food you eat, just the kind of foods you eat. That works fine for most of us, as we do not have to feel deprived. It is only when we feel deprived that we go on a binging spree. Also, having frequent small meals and increasing water intake boosts metabolism and aids in fat loss.

Keep stocked in your refrigerator or freezer a box of veggie burgers (look for low-sodium varieties). Veggie burgers are a much better choice for your waistline and heart than ground meat. Veggie patties have only about half the calories of regular red meat patties, and zero heart-hurting saturated fat. Plus, they’re so easy to cook – just one or two minutes in the microwave. While toasting your whole-wheat bun, take from your pantry a jar of roasted red bell peppers and top your veggie patty with a couple of luscious slices. Smear your bun with a little low-sodium Dijon mustard.
